Good (but disturbing) stuff from Newsweek on bad medical advice.
Sorry for the massive slow down in posting here - it will be pick up and in the meantime if I "reblog" something it is because I found it germane to the meta themes I'm concerned with in my writing and thinking.
This is so upsetting. Sure, docs have to give advice based on the information available at the time... and more information is available now, so they can modify the advice... but for so much of it to be flawed is yikes.

ReplyDeleteI think it is "yikes"...I also think that it is another bit of supporting evidence in the macro theory of NTTATS and our ability to "know" things.
